Once again, after much more effort than probably should have been necessary, the pharm department has graciously decided to do away with double pharm lectures and just extend each class period by 10 minutes. We fought very hard last semester to have it changed for ICM4 before they finally agreed, so I have no idea why they changed it back for 5th semester! So, we fought it some more, only to be told that there was probably a good reason that they just didn't want to tell us, and it wasn't going to change. This was despite the fact that nearly 100% of the class voted to get rid of double pharm and also filled out course evaluations indicating the same. In any case, they mysteriously changed their mind again, and all is now well in class :)
So, although I still don't know what the issue ever was in the first place, thank you to the pharm department for allowing the students to have a voice.
